Located between the provinces of Genoa and Savona, the Parco del Beigua is a true hidden gem.
Many Italians call it “the balcony of Liguria” because from several points along the trails you can enjoy spectacular views of the coastline.

Meet Paolo, our guide: the heart of the adventure
One of the reasons why our excursions are always so enjoyable is our guide, Paolo.
Paolo is not just an experienced hiking guide: he is also a passionate storyteller who loves sharing interesting facts about nature, local traditions, and the Italian landscape.
During the hike, Paolo helps everyone feel safe and comfortable, even those who are not used to walking in the mountains.
He knows the area perfectly and makes sure the pace is accessible for everyone, with plenty of time to admire the view and take photos.
What students love most about Paolo is his warm and friendly personality.
He always creates a relaxed atmosphere, where people can enjoy the day without stress — and of course, he always knows the best panoramic spots!
A local curiosity
The name “Beigua” is believed to come from ancient Ligurian roots connected to the idea of a “high ridge”.
For centuries, these mountains were crossed by shepherds and travellers moving between the coast and inland areas.
Walking here feels like travelling back in time.
An easy scenic trail: perfect for everyone
This excursion is designed to be accessible even for beginners.
The route is an 8 km loop trail, rated as easy.
The pace will be comfortable, with several stops to enjoy the view, take photos and simply breathe fresh air.
It is the perfect experience for anyone who wants to enjoy a beautiful day in nature without feeling exhausted.
