Il Centro – Italian Language School in Milan offers
long-term Italian language courses officially recognized by the
Italian Ministry of Education and valid for student visa applications.
If you’re a non-European student planning to study in Italy for more than 90 days,
you will need a Study Visa.
Our courses are specifically designed to meet all the requirements set by the Embassy or Consulate in your country.
Please note that some nationalities must apply for a study visa even for stays shorter than 90 days,
according to the regulations of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the local Embassy or Consulate.
Each visa course follows the same structure as our
Intensive Italian Courses,
with 20 hours of in-person lessons per week.
To be eligible for a student visa, you must enroll in a course lasting a
minimum of 16 weeks (4 months),
up to 48 weeks for long-term study programs.
Once you complete your enrollment, our team provides all the
official documents required by the Consulate, including the
Certificate of Enrollment and proof of payment.

You’ll receive an Enrollment Certificate, Invoice and Proof of Payment,
a Letter of Acceptance from Il Centro, and confirmation of our recognition by the Italian Ministry of Education.
The Italian Consulate requires a minimum of 20 hours per week (4 hours a day, Monday to Friday) in-person lessons at a recognized school.
No, self-study or online-only courses are not valid for visa purposes.
You must attend in-person classes at a recognized school in Italy.
To obtain a Study Visa, students must have completed level A2 of Italian.
All visa documents are issued promptly after your full registration and payment,
so you can apply quickly at your Italian Consulate.
